Example 1 provides an introduction to the winLIFE software for fatigue life calculation. It shows how the nominal stress in a shaft is evaluated with regard to material fatigue.
The video demonstrates the basic functions of winLIFE.

Example 15: The video demonstrates the application of the R1 concept for weld seam analysis using the winLIFE software. The R1 concept, which is included in many guidelines (FKM guideline, IIW), uses radii of 1 mm at the weld seam transitions and evaluates the stresses at these radii.

Example 25 introduces the winLIFE viewer and its basic functions. It demonstrates how to import finite element results from well-known FE solvers. It also shows the graphical representation of three-dimensional models with stress and damage results.
